we recently went on an 8 day tour to Kashmir with Pakistan Tours and Trek I booked customized tour and honestly it was an incredible experience from start to finish The hotels were clean comfortable and well located, Every destination we visited was breathtaking and the itinerary was perfectly planned to let us enjoy each spot without feeling rushed the guidance throughout the trip was excellent Saghi Ali Bhai who arranged the tour was super helpful and responsive making sure everything ran smoothly and we felt taken care of.👍👍👍 A special shoutout to our driver Fareed Bhai what a gem calm professional and always smiling his driving was smooth and safe even on the winding mountain roads and he added a warm friendly vibe to the whole journey🙏Overall it was a perfect mix of adventure relaxation and stunning scenery, If you're thinking about exploring Kashmir I’d definitely highly recommend Pakistan Tours and Trek✅

Although I have hiked to different places in the north of Pakistan, my hike towards Haamdar meadows was unique in many ways. Firstly, it required crossing Hopper glacier, which is the fastest moving glacier. Secondly, the diverse terrain that followed the glacier offered spectacular view of the mountains. Thirdly, the camping site with a view of the Golden peak and white glacier made the entire place surreal. I would like to express my gratitude to Mr Haibat, my former research participant (a graduate from the University of Karachi), who not only told me about this place, but also accompanied me along with Pakitan Tours and Trek's team. I would also like to thank Mr Yaseen, the man who led the entire team, and, of course, all the supporting members that included the cook, Mr Musharraf, the local guides and porters, Mr Riaz, Mr Sardar, and others, without whose motivation and support the adventure wouldn't have materialized. Everything, from hiking to camping to the meals served, was outstanding. Last but not the least, I would also like to thank Mr Sagi for showing me the photos of Haamadar meadows as after watching those photos I could not resist the temptation of camping there. Honestly speaking, I had not even heard the name of Haamdar meadows eariler, but after visiting this place I feel so fortunate to have stayed there for camping. All those nature lovers, who want to explore less trodden paths must give it a try and I would strongly recommend that you explore such hidden gems with Pakistan Tours and Trek's team, as they have local team members who provide useful information about the local flora and fauna. Listening to their stories based on their trekking experience is an icing on the cake.

Gilgit-Baltistan is beautiful all year, but each season offers a different experience. Here is how to choose the right time for your Pakistan trip.

March to May

Cherry and apricot blossom in Hunza and Skardu, fresh green fields and mild days. Ideal for culture and photography tours.

How do international travelers get to Gilgit-Baltistan?

Most visitors fly into Islamabad International Airport. From there you can drive to Gilgit-Baltistan along the Karakoram Highway, or take a short domestic flight to Gilgit or Skardu. Mountain flights are weather dependent, so we always keep a road option ready.

Do I need a visa to visit Pakistan?

Most nationalities need a Pakistan tourist visa, which can be applied for online through the official Pakistan Online Visa System. Once you book with us, we can share your confirmed itinerary and hotel details to support your application.

Is Gilgit-Baltistan safe for tourists?

Gilgit-Baltistan is known as one of the most peaceful and hospitable regions of Pakistan and welcomes many foreign travelers every year. You will travel with our local guide and experienced driver throughout your tour.

What currency is used, and can I use cards?

The local currency is the Pakistani Rupee (PKR). Cards work in larger hotels and some shops in Gilgit, Hunza and Skardu, but cash is still needed in most places, so we recommend carrying some rupees and using ATMs in the main towns.

Can you arrange a tour for my exact dates?

Yes. All our tours are private, so we can start on any date and adjust the route, hotels and pace. We also plan honeymoon, family, photography and trekking trips from scratch.

Is there mobile internet in the mountains?

Mobile data and hotel Wi-Fi are available in Gilgit, Hunza, Skardu and most main valleys, though speed can be limited. Some remote areas such as Fairy Meadows and trekking routes have little or no signal.
